DAY 1
ARRIVE NAIROBI
Nairobi is Kenya’s principal economic, administrative, and cultural center and is one of the largest and fastest growing cities in Africa. On arrival in Nairobi (meaning ‘place of cool waters’ in the Masai language), you are met and escorted to your hotel. Rest of your day is at leisure. HOTEL
DAY 2
NAIROBI / SWEETWATER’S WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Following Breakfast, depart on the first leg of your safari to Sweetwaters, heading north, you’ll pass near Thika and continue north through some breathtaking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee. Arrival at the Camp in time for lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive including a visit to the Chimp Sanctuary returning to the camp as the sun sets..SWEETWATERS TENTED CAMP. BLD
DAY 3
SWEETWATER’S WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Visit the Sweetwater’s Wildlife Sanctuary after breakfast. The reserve is also home to the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya. Later you return to the Camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive. SWEETWATERS TENTED CAMP. BLD
DAY 4
SWEETWATERS / MT KENYA
Leave after breakfast and drive south and into the forests of the Aberdare Mountain range arriving at Mountain Lodge for lunch. Continue to the world famous Mount Kenya, on a clear day you will see the magnificent mountain in its full splendor. Stay at the tree lodge set in a forest glade with a waterhole that attracts all sorts of wildlife during the day and night. The waterhole is floodlit and there is an underground viewing platform. DAY 5
MT. KENYA/ LAKE ELEMENTAITA & LAKE NAKURU
An early morning start takes you north‑west as you head for Nyahururu, still known to many as Thomson’s Falls for its 237‑foot cascade. Now travel in a southerly direction to your next destination, Lake Elementaita. Following lunch depart for Lake Nakuru for an afternoon game drive returning to the camp as the sunsets. Lake Nakuru is famous for millions of pink flamingos and a myriad of birds that make this saline lake their home. A rhino sanctuary has also been established that is now home to both black as well as white rhino and a sizable population of the most elusive of the cats. After a picnic lunch continue to CAMP. BLD
DAY 6
LAKE ELEMENTAITA / MASAI MARA NATIONAL GAME RESERVE
Depart after breakfast, for Kenya’s most famed game reserve, the Maasai Mara, where red ochre clad tribesmen still live as they did before civilization. There is nothing quite like the experience of adventure in Kenya’s Masai Mara. Afternoon proceed on a game viewing drive in search of the ‘big five’. LODGE. BLD
DAY 7
MAASAI MARA
Experience breathtaking vistas overlooking rolling Savannah’s, acacia woodlands teeming with large concentrations of wildebeest, zebra and antelope, always on move in search of better grazing. Your morning and afternoon game viewing drives also include a visit to the Mara River to view the large population of hippo and crocodiles. BLD

MARA/ NAIROBI & DEPARTURE
Bid farewell to safari life as you return to Nairobi connecting with your international flight. B
