Arrive Istanbul, a huge metropolis connecting continents, cultures, religions and one of the greatest business and cultural center of the region. Meeting assistance by A Classic Tours Collection representative and transfer to HOTEL TITANIC CITY
DAY 2 – SATURDAY
ISTANBUL
Full day city Tour visiting: Blue Mosque, St. Sophia, originally a Christian Basilica, conceived by Constantine and rebuilt by Justinian. In 1920’s Ataturk converted it to a Museum, Hippodrome. Topkapi Palace Museum (excluding Harem section) and Grand Covered Bazaar before returning to your hotel. TITANIC CITY HOTEL. B
DAY 3 – SUNDAY
ISTANBUL / ANKARA / CAPPADOCIA
After breakfast, depart for Ankara to visit Mausoleum of Ataturk and its Museum. This is the burial place of the national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey. We then depart for Cappadocia . After a picturesque trip along the Salt Lake, we will arrive in Cappadocia for an overnight stay. The unique and yet the strange rock formations and subterranean dwellings of Cappadocia provide unforgettable sets of experiences, memories and photographs. HOTEL DILEK KAYA. BD
DAY 4 – MONDAY
CAPPADOCIA
For millions of years, the mighty volcanoes of the Central Anatolian Plateau erupted and spewed their contents across the land that would become the cradle of civilization. The interesting rock formations, known as “fairy chimneys”, have been formed as the result of the erosion of the tufa layer, sculpted by wind and flood water, running down on the slopes of the valleys. On your full day tour visit the natural citadel of Uchisar, Goreme Open-Air Museum, Pasabag Valley, and Underground City of Kaymakli or Derinkuyu. HOTEL DILEK CAYA. BL
DAY 5 – TUESDAY
CAPPADOCIA / KONYA / PAMUKKALE
Early Morning depart for Pamukkale. En route first stop at 13th century caravanserai `Sultanhan’ & later Konya, the city famous far beyond the borders of Turkey. Visit the most important in Konya is Mevlana’s Mausoleum, the mystic Sufi poet and the founder of the Whirling Dervish order. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant and continue to Pamukkale, famous not only for the entrancing beauty of its unique geological formations but also for its historical remains. HOTEL: LYCUS RIVER. BD
DAY 6 – WEDNESDAY
PAMUKKALE / HIERAPOLIS/ KUSADASI
ArrAfter breakfast visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. The ruins of the biggest Necropolis (graveyard) of the ancient world, Roman Baths, Basilica and calcium cliffs. Continue on our drive to Selcuk to visit Temple of Artemis ‘‘one of the seven wonders of the ancient world ‘’ then continue to Kusadasi. HOTEL KAYA THERMAL. BD
DAY 7 – THURSDAY
EPHESUS & SIRINCE EXCURSION
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Ancient city of Ephesus where we will visit its magnificent library, theater and temples. Lunch in nomadic tent in Selcuk to taste Turkish Gozleme. IZMIR – FLIGHT BACK HOME
