Oct 24 (MON) OSLO

Breakfast at your hotel Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before we continue 3 hours sightseeing tour of Oslo – The Oslo Highlights! The guide and the coach will meet in front of your hotel. On the tour we will pass the Royal Palace, The Parliament, and the National Theatre. We will have stroll through the impressive Vigeland Sculpture Park and we will continue to the surreal Holmenkollen Skijump for a great view of Oslo. Afternoon free to prepare for the Eclipse.

Maybe you want to visit the brand-new Munch Museum or the National Museum? Experience world-famous images such as The Scream and Madonna and be surprised by unfamiliar masterpieces and unexpected glimpses into Munch’s diverse artistic career. Oct 26 (WED) OSLO – MYRDAL – FLÅM – GUDVANGEN – VOSS – BERGEN

Morning train from Oslo to Myrdal. The Bergen Railway is a unique experience on Northern Europe’s highest-altitude railway line. One of the greatest challenges is the harsh and changeable weather. Today, skilled workers, effective equipment, tunnels, and snow tunnels make the Bergen Railway one of the safest and most comfortable ways of travelling between Oslo and Bergen. The line was voted one of the 20 best railway experiences in the world in 1999.

Change train at Myrdal – Mountain Railway down to Flåm. The Flåm Railway has been named one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world, and is one of the leading tourist attractions in Norway. The train runs from the end of Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the Sognefjord, up to the high mountains at Myrdal station. Oct 28 (FRI) BERGEN

Breakfast at your hotel – Free time in Bergen.

OPTIONAL: we may suggest a fjordtrip to Mostraumen? Join on a three-hour fjord cruise through beautiful and varied western Norway fjord landscapes. This round trip departs from Zachariasbryggen wharf by Bergen’s famous fish market all year. It’s fun for young and old alike. Sailing out from the city center gives us a great view of Bryggen in Bergen, which is on UNESCO’s world heritage list. From there, we sail through magnificent scenery in the Osterfjord towards Modalen, Norway’s second smallest municipality. The crew takes us safely through powerful currents of the shallow and narrow Mostraumen straits. The further into the fjord we venture, the steeper and more powerful the mountain landscape becomes. We pass several cascading waterfalls. The captain steers the boat so close to a waterfall that you risk feeling its refreshing spray on your face (if the waterfalls are not frozen)! The beautiful fjord landscape is rich in bird and animal life, and, with a little luck, we might see seals sunbathing on the rocky shore or even eagles soaring over us. Our comfortable, modern boats are large and spacious, with plenty of space both outside and inside. To ensure the one meter distancing we have reduced the number of guests on board. Mouth mask is mandatory when in the cabin. The kiosk on board offers fresh and tempting baked goods from our local bakery, snacks and cold/hot drinks.
