Welcome to Punta Arenas: A sprawling metropolis on the edge of the Strait of Magellan, between the Pacific and Atlantic oceans and is the southernmost large city in the world. Founded in 1848 by Col. José de los Santos Mardones, it flourished as a port of call and coaling station until the opening of the Panama Canal (1914) and the replacement of coal (still mined nearby) by fuel oil as a maritime fuel. Now the service centre of a large sheep-raising area, it processes and exports hides, wool, and frozen mutton.
3. MAGIC OF PATAGONIA – Nov 29 to Dec. 5, 2021 : 7 days visiting – Santiago, Puerto Natales, Torres Del Paine National Park Estancia Olga Teresa (Condors of Patagonia), Punta Arenas, Magdalena & Marta Islands.
A sight with one of a kind mountains, blue lakes, desert pampas, rivers full of icebergs and ice fields the size of Hawaii, all await you at the Torres del Paine National Park. The amazing granite peaks that reach up to 2,900 meters in height shape the dramatic summits that give the park its name: the Torres or Towers. You can visit them on foot following the trails or horseback riding Patagonian style through the pampas. Be blown away by the Grey Lake and sail to visit its amazing glacier, one of the iconic spots of this Biosphere Reserve.
TOUR BOOKING PROCEDURE:
(Tours are also available without Eclipse flight. An optional tour will be offered on day of flight)
Payment Schedule:
- Deposit: $350.00 per person is due at the time of booking along with a completed Booking Form.
- Final Payment due by Oct. 15, 2021
Cancellation Terms:
Cancellations must be in writing by email, fax, or mail. Cancellation Penalties are as follows:
- After Booking & until Oct. 15, 2021 – $150.00 per person
- Oct. 16, 2021 & onwards: 100% penalty
- Pricing: All tour prices are based on costs and U.S. dollar exchange rates in effect at the time of posting. As such, prices listed here are subject to change due currency fluctuations, changes in terms by suppliers, changes in entrance fees, guide fees etc. ACTC will inform clients of any changes prior to departure.
- Change fee of $75.00 per person/ per change applies for any change in land travel arrangements made after booking. No additional charge for additional services such as stopovers, pre & post tour extensions arranged through ACTC. Change fees on air travels apply as per airline policies. Please check at time of booking.
- Itinerary is subject to change due flight schedules and other implications beyond our control. ACTC Tours reserves the right to change itinerary, Hotels without prior notice.
- All tour prices, taxes quoted in this brochure are based on tariffs and costs that were in effect/ negotiated at the time of publication (Nov.. 2020). Consequently, prices herein are subject to change. Due to currency fluctuations, oil prices, taxation changes by local authorities, increase in entrance fees to monuments may be added to your tour fee. You will be advised of details and costs prior to departure.

PLEASE NOTE: Group air rates from major US cities will be negotiated with the airlines and offered to participants (usually 11 months prior to departure). Airlines may require purchase of International air to receive low domestic travel (internal Chile, Peru & Argentina) rates or rates may be combined for both International and Domestic Argentina travel into one.
Initial arrival transfer and final departure transfer are included for participants arriving on group flights or at same time as group airline. Those making own International travel arrangements can either join at Hotel on own or purchase a private transfer. Additional costs apply. Higher rates for Internal Argentina flights may also apply (subject to Airlines rules).
