DEPART NORTH AMERICA
Board your international flight for the first
segment of your tour of Mystical Himalayan Kingdoms.

ENROUTE OR DELHI
East Coast passengers have an overnight stay in
Delhi. West Coast passengers will get day rooms in Singapore to
relax before connecting to Bombay.

NEPAL DAY 3: |
KATHMANDU
Arrive Kathmandu this morning, the capital of
Kingdom of Nepal. Rest of the day is at leisure. This evening
you are treated to a lively Nepalese dance & music presentation
in the traditional costumes followed by a Nepalese dinner.

| DAY 4: |
PATAN & KATHMANDU TOURS
Tour Patan, the 'city of beauty' with it's many palaces and temples
& the Tibetan refugee camp to see the deft hands of Tibetans
weaving carpets and other distinct Tibetan handicrafts.
Kathmandu city tour includes the Durbar Square, the temple of
the Living Goddess Kumari, Bodhnath home of the largest Buddhist
stupa in the world and Pashupatinath, the most sacred Lord
Shiva's shrine in Nepal.

DAY 5: |
BHADGAON EXCURSION
Enjoy a drive through the terraced rice fields
to the primitive city of Bhadgaon, also known as Bhaktapur -
'City of Devotees'. Visit the Durbar Square, Big Bell, the Bell
of the Barking Dogs, the Lion Gate, the Picture Gallery and the
famous Golden Gate - opening to the courtyard of the Palace of
55 Windows.

| DAY 6: |
KATHMANDU / POKHARA
The scenic valley of Pokhara is an enormous
sunlit playground covered by green-forested hills, waterfalls,
and terraced fields. It's three lakes Phew, Begnas and Rupa
further enhance the beauty of the valley at 900 m. Pokhara also
offers excellent views of Dhaulagiri, Himalchuli, the five peaks
of Annapurna and Machapuchare. Spend two nights in the beautiful
city. SHANGRI LA VILLAGE HOTEL.

DAY 7: |
POKHARA TOURING
Your stay includes the city tour & boat ride on
lake Phewa today.
|
| DAY 8 TO 11 : |
Choice of option A or B
OPTION A - Take a 4-day
trek to visit the remote villages of Gurungs and Chettris. The
first night stop Dhampus offers great views of Annapurna range.
Trek through the villages, offering ample opportunities to take
pictures, get acquainted with village life, meet school
children, and watch villagers working in the terraced fields.
Overnight stops are at Langdrung & Ghandrung villages, home to
world famous gorkha soldiers. Trek includes all camping
equipment, trekking staff (guides, cook, kitchen helpers,
porters), and all meals during the trek. TENTED CAMPS.
OPTION B -
CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK Travel to Asia's richest and spectacular
wildlife sanctuary, home to the great one horned rhinoceros,
several species of deer, sloth beer, wild boar, fresh water
dolphin, leopard, marsh mugger, gharial crocodiles, over 450
species of birds and the elusive and nocturnal Royal Bengal
Tiger. Excellent game viewing facilities exist along with
accommodations at treetop lodges, bungalows, long houses, and
tented camps. Activities at most lodges include nature walk,
game viewing on elephant back, land rover, boat trips, jungle
treks, bird watching excursions, wildlife viewing and
photography from machans (blinds). All meals and game drives are

DAY 12: |
CHITWAN or POKHARA /KATHMANDU
Return back to Kathmandu from your respective option. Rest of the
day is at leisure. SHANGRI LA HOTEL.

KATHMANDU / SINGAPORE OR DELHI
West Coast members depart today for Bangkok.
East Coast members travel to Delhi. Overnight accommodations and
transfers in each place.

DAY 14: |
SINGAPORE OR DELHI / HOME
Arrive home today with wonderful memories of
your adventures in the Shangri-la.
